Angel Tote by Whistler Studios uses the Calling All Nurses collection for a zippered bag with quilted outer panels, piping and leather handles. The finished tote measures fourteen inches wide, eight and a half inches high and six and a quarter inches deep. A fused lining and a covered stiff insert support the inside and base. The construction also includes optional metal feet for the bottom and fabric tabs for finishing the zipper ends.

Angel Tote Free Pattern by Whistler Studios quilt pattern summary
- Cut the body, side, bottom and lining pieces. Quilt the outer panels with batting and muslin, then cover the cording and add the piping to the body panels.
- Sew the zipper between the upper sections and join the sides and bottom to form the outside of the bag. Add the optional metal feet before enclosing the base.
- Fuse the lining pieces, assemble the lining and leave the specified opening for turning. Join it to the outside, turn the bag, close the opening and topstitch the upper edge.
- Hand-sew the leather handles in place. Cover the stiff bottom insert with fabric and fit it inside the bag, then finish the zipper ends with fabric tabs if desired.
