Wall Hanging Kits FAQ

What size are wall hanging kits?+

Sizes range from small 6" x 6" quilt boards to wall quilts more than 40" across, like the Palette Pop English Paper Piecing Kit. The exact finished size is listed on each product page.

Is backing and binding included?+

Most fabric kits include the pattern plus fabric for the top and binding, with backing sold separately. A few, like the Aurora Wall Hanging Kit, also include backing. Watercolor kits include the pattern with graph and precut 2" squares presorted by value (some add appliqué fabrics); you provide the borders, binding and backing.

What comes in a laser-cut kit?+

Laser-cut kits include the pattern, appliqué pieces already fused with FlexiFuse Premium Fusible, and general appliqué instructions with iron temperatures and stitch suggestions. Backgrounds, binding and backing are not included.

Is interfacing or stabilizer included with watercolor kits?+

The watercolor kit product pages list the pattern with graph and the precut squares only, so plan to supply your own fusible grid or interfacing if your method uses one.

What skill level are wall hanging kits?+

Each product page lists a skill level. Kits like Calico Cat, Mystic Meadow and Aurora are marked Beginner, while Red Roof and the two-sided door banners are marked Advanced.
