Woolies Flannel
Woolies Flannel is Maywood Studio's best-known line and our most popular Maywood precut. It looks like wool, with heathered solids, plaids, houndstooth and tweed textures, but it's 100% cotton flannel you can machine wash. Palettes like Stormy Seas, Holiday Warmth, Desert Sunset, Gemstones and Colors Vol. 2 come in 10" squares, charm packs, strips and fat quarter bundles. Tips for Sewing Woolies Flannel
Flannel stretches a little more than quilting cotton. Starch before cutting, pin often, and use a slightly longer stitch. A walking foot helps keep plaid lines straight when you quilt.
