End zone table runner …big hit!

Love the fact that I was able to pull together two of these table runners for both my older grandsons who are avid Detroit Lion fans and the Lions are actually doing well this year for the first time in 30 years. In addition, because my grandsons are both avid hockey players (Swedish-blood), I did the reverse side as a hockey rink with the Detroit Red Wings it was a win-win this Christmas. Thank you for the ideas that get my creative juices flowing God Jul and Gott nytt år!

Fun Project

I enjoyed making this for my daughter and son-in-law. I think they will enjoy it. I plan to make it again for a friend and one for me! Just be aware that there are a LOT of numbers to trace and cut out for the yard line markers!

Difficult for me

The pattern is very well written. I had a lot of problems though. I had to cut the green in sections to sew the chenille on the seam lines to get it straight. The numbers were a problem for me also. They didn’t look right cut from the fabric and appliquéd on. I couldn’t get them uniform. I had to use my embroidery machine, cut them out, and sew them on the green. I wish MSQC had the numbers cut with prefused fabric to Applique on.

Awesome!

We are not football people but we have friends that are. This makes a wonderful gift and also a great idea for when we donate as a raffle theme to the motorcycle runs we support.

Great pattern!! Easy to follow instructions. I made both a 49er's and a Vikings runner for my son and his wife, as Christmas gifts. They live in Minnesota and are both big football fans of rival teams. Hopefully it won't cause any feathers to be ruffled. Lol Thanks for that great gift idea!! Merry Christmas 🤶
